
Hike & Gourmet Dolomites

The itinerary stems from the idea of connecting the main sites of cultural interest in theupper Agordino with a Trekking Tour and takes its cue and integrates the"Cultural trail in the Dolomites" project, an initiative promoted bythe Vittorino CazzettaMuseum , theof the Castle of Andraz and thecultural site of the Fursil mines , which provides the possibility of accessing the three museum sites in an integrated form.
In addition to visiting the three realities, the trek includes a transit alongthe Strada della Vena , an ancient trade route that connected theFursil mines with the smelting furnaces present at theCastle of Andraz.The climb toMonte Col di Lana is one of the most significant places of theGreat War .
The paths crossed are well marked, often equipped with benches and without particular technical difficulties.
The fee is valid for a minimum of 4 participants
Day 1 VILLAGES OF POSALZ
Meeting point today at 09.00 is the Vittorino Cazzetta Museum in Selva di Cadore.
You can leave your car comfortably in the parking lot until the end of this Trek.
After a short guided tour of the museum we leave for this adventure with Luca our Guide.
From Selva di Cadore, climbing by modest differences in height along forestry, pastoral and municipal roads, you will soon reach the town of Posalz where you will visit the famous Fursil mines.
The trek resumes grafting into the strda della Vena that will lead up to the town of Colcuc, where it will be possible to take a refreshing break in a farm with local products.
The second part of the day includes the passage through the village of Larzonei, always along the Vena road, you will reach the Hotel where you will stop for the night.

Day 2 Pass Val Parola
After a rich breakfast buffet with local products, we leave for the Andraz Castle.
With your packet lunch made with local products, you proceed uphill for 700m of altitude without technical difficulties to Col di Lana, perfect for a packed lunch near the Alpini bivouac.
The descent to the Sief fork begins, crossing trenches and war barracks, and then taking an easy path along an ups and downs that leads to the foot of Mount Setsass and to the Val Parola pass.
It will be possible to have lunch all together at the Val Paola Refuge or visit the Museum of the Great War.
At 16.00 the shuttle will be waiting for you to take you to the starting point of this "amazing" Trek.
You will all arrive in Selva di Cadore in front of the Vittorino Cazzetta Museum to pick up your cars.
